The Wall

This is a group of people that earn their living from UK goverment. Every week after collecting their money from the post office, they will spend it on beer and alcohol at the very same wall.

PHOTOGRAPHERS STATEMENT

I don’t really consider myself teaching when I’m in class. To me, it is more towards sharing experience between a lecturer and students. Although I’m a lecturer, on daily basis I really need to produce photograph that able quench my thirst towards my interest.

Sometimes, my students are better than me in certain aspect. We share everything and we completed each other. Photojournalism is mainly related to people. As a photojournalist, I really love to study people emotion and reaction as a subject matter. The photographer sincerity towards the subject matter is 1st priority in getting good photograph.

It is a huge responsibility for photojournalist to document the event that happens today. Everything documented are for the next generation and they’re responsible to continue the legacy for generation after them. We know nothing of what happen in the past without documented visual or information.

PASAR RAMADHAN

Outing with my students at Putrajaya Pasar Ramadhan ....

My crew....

Studying human behaviour at Bazar Ramadhan was really interesting. There are two groups of people with different objectives. The seller was very strategically with a mission to sell his goods. Buyer was fill with desire to eat following their appetite. In doing so, sometimes they forgot that there's another of people was watching them. It was me!

Kinda difficult to find time to do the entry. Just wait...

I really like the distance between you and the subject matter. Mon 15-Oct-2007 03:41

Thank for your comments Tue 9-Oct-2007 07:03

KELANTAN 'LAND OF TRUE COLOURS'

ONE OF MY MOST EXCITING TRIP

Photojournalism is mainly related to people. As a photojournalist, i really really love to study people emotion and reaction as a subject matter.I could felt their feelings, i would like to know what they're thinking about. Visually, these Kelantan people portraying their determination, strong will and great love towards their state.

During that Dikir Barat session, i was amazed because the only thing the main singer been singing is asking Kelantanese to keep on loving their state. I enjoyed myself meeting Pak Pie Wau Bulan because he's one of the two grand master on wau bulan left in Kelantan. I learnt so many things for this trip....

Next month, probably bringing some students to explore Malacca.

cool. Thu 16-Aug-2007 08:33

MALACCA TRIP

My plan was to photograph Malacca as much as i can. Unfortunately, i've to babysit my two beloved children because my wife have to attend her academic meetings. What to do?
On this night i managed to sneak out of the hotel and go to Jonker Walk.

This is what i could come out with. The most important thing is i enjoyed it very much.

Will be going back to Malacca in July or August. This time..... alone.
