CRAB ISLAND-Series 1

Recently i went to Crab Island with some of buddies from ASFON Negeri Sembilan. The trip was so interesting, i was on an island without any car or motorcycle. Everybody cycle or walk on this island. I felt that i was in other country when i was on this island. Here are some of my photograph on religious activities on Crab Island.

Malay Traditional Games

I was invited by ASFON Negeri Sembilan (a photography association) to join their event on 28th March 2009 at Negeri Sembilan Meseum. I was really glad i attended the event. Everything that i shot on that day bring back sweet memories to me. Thank you to Haji Khalil, Haji Latiff and ASFON members.

THAIPUSAM 09- Series 1

It is a festival celebrated by Hindus devotees throughout the world. I took these photographs at Batu Caves. I didn't get to photograph it on Saturday due to unavoidable matters. I went earlier on Thursday with 2 of my friends.

Penampang Beach - Kuantan

On the way back we decided collectively to head further to Kuantan just to go to Tanjung Lumpor to eat seafood. It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from Jerantut. Sound crazy but we're really glad we went for the trip. There's no photograph of seafood because we were so busy eating.

Planning for more trips...

Taman Negara Trip

Lepak at Restoran Terapung

View all 6 photos...
On 24th until 26th January, i was invited by ASFON Negeri Sembilan to join them for a trip at National Park, Jerantut. It was a fun experienced. I travel there with Chip, EK and Ikhmal. Started 4.30 am, i picked up Ikhmal at Jalan Travers. From there, i continued to Cyberjaya to pick up Chip and EK. After i filled up petrol and NGV at Cyberjaya petrol station we continued our journey to Paroi Jaya, Seremban.

7.45 am, we continued our journey followed by another 6 car. It was a smooth journey driving in the country side. We reached Persona Lodge around 2.30 pm. 4 of us check in, lie on our bed and only woke up at 7.00 pm. We laughed at each other because we've missed a program scheduled at 3.30 pm.

Next day program was very exciting. We take a boat and go to Lata Berkoh. To reach there, we have to walk near 1 km through track. On the way, i found a lot of subject matter. As usual, i'm very obsess with insect and to be specific ants. After that i went to the canopy walk. I walk nearly 3 km from the jetty. I had fun and very glad to have travel with Chip, EK and Ikhmal. Good companion makes the trip more wonderful.

I would like to say thanks to Tuan Haji Khalil and Tuan Haji Latiff from ASFON Negeri Sembilan for inviting me to join this trip.

Eid al-Adha

[size=9]Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى‎ ‘Īdu l-’Aḍḥá) "Festival of Sacrifice" is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims (including the Druze) worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God. However, God provided a ram in place once Ibrahim demonstrated his willingness to follow God's commands.

Eid al-Adha annually falls on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja (ذو الحجة) of the lunar Islamic calendar. The festivities last for three days or more depending on the country. Eid al-Adha occurs the day after the pilgrims conducting Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. It happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan.
