THE PROCESS

Today advancement in technologies has given almost everybody the opportunity to get involve in photography. Photography was accessible to everybody who can afford it. I was lucky to be able to learn the conventional and digital photography era.

In my opinion, photography should be learn from basic, set the foundation of your knowledge on photography by attending formal classes, courses, training, reading from books or magazine, outing session and get yourself a mentor. Photography interpretation from a person to another could be very subjective. The knowledge transfer from a 'GURU' to another could also be different. Along this process, a lot of knowledge would went through modification according to the person acquiring of info process.

Professional photographers facing a lot of difficulties dealing with 'market' problems created by this amateur photographers. Once upon a time, to be called as professional photographer it takes a long time of practices and recognition from the industries. Today, a person would buy a camera in the morning, print name card in the afternoon and in the evening declared themselves professionals. My major concern is the quality produces by these amateurs. Customers are totally confuse to differentiate between pro and amateur. I'm also concern about the pricing range - honestly, some of them offering too cheap. In other word, they're killing the market!

Before anybody venture into this profession, please equip yourself with enough knowledge.

We PHOTOGRAPHERS are professional, we should be treated as professional, we should work like a professional.
